Ti Grade 5 -----Titanium Alloy (Ti-6Al-4V) (6% aluminum, 4% vanadium)
----- One of the most used titanium alloy is an alpha-beta alloy containing 6% Al and 4% V, due to its excellent combination of corrosion resistance, strength and toughness characteristics. It behaves well in forging and has excellent ductility and toughness in the annealed condition. Because of its low sensibility to notching effects and its excellent resistance to cavitation, Ti Gr.5 is suitable for any mechanical application and pressure vessels.
